Choral singing<\/strong> is a form of musical expression, popular in many parts of the world, in which a group of people join their voices to sing together, often in polyphony.<\/p>\n\n

Since its birth, Gen Verde has always created choral pieces dedicated to liturgy<\/a>, worship and praise<\/a>, as well as motivational songs<\/a><\/strong>, created to inspire and generate positive change, to spread the idea of universal fraternity and the joy of living, themes that they usually interpret in their concerts.<\/p>\n\n

All the Gen Verde pieces<\/strong><\/a> aim to convey the message of the Gospel<\/strong>: Love, dialogue, peace, unity among peoples, empathy, inclusion.<\/p>\n\n

Definition of choral singing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Choral singing<\/strong> is a musical practice in which a choir performs vocal pieces. Often divided into vocal sections, such as sopranos, altos, tenors and basses, choristers combine their voices in harmony, creating a sound ensemble enriched by polyphony, i.e. the overlapping of different melodic lines. This type of singing can be performed a cappella, i.e. without instrumental accompaniment, or with the support of musical instruments. Choral singing has deep roots in the religious and folk music traditions of many cultures. <\/p>\n\n

The different types of Gen Verde choral songs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Gen Verde<\/strong> has composed numerous choral pieces, many of them listened and sung by very diverse audiences.<\/p>\n\n

Many of these songs correspond to the genre of “motivational” music<\/a>, a powerful source of inspiration and encouragement, capable of encouraging feelings of confidence, strength and determination. These are real hymns of hope and strength.<\/p>\n\n

Much listened to songs of this genre are “Accendi la Pace<\/strong><\/a>“, “Nell the moment that goes<\/a><\/strong>“. The most recent motivational choral song, entitled “Nel mani tue<\/a><\/strong>“, draws inspiration from a passage from the Gospel of Matthew and represents an invitation not to lose heart, trusting in the hands of the Lord as your only guide.<\/p>\n\n

However, Gen Verde is even better known for its liturgical choral music.<\/p>\n\n
